Here we have my most recent book cover work, for author R.A. Williamson’s new weird west tail, Zarahemla Two Crows, The Widow’s Son.

Creating book covers is honestly something I sort of fell into. I’m a writer, and when what I wrote could more or less be turned into books, I would have been silly not to use my years and years of scribbling in a sketch-book to my advantage, by creating cover art for my work. And well, you know, I’m part of this eccentric family of writers who also needed covers for their books, so I filled that role too. Once I had a few covers under my belt, writers and small publishers began approaching me to do cover art for their books, and it’s sort of gone from there.

I’m not going to call myself an expert, but I’ve done a good number of covers, and have gotten into a groove, so to speak, so I have a way of doing things that might be considered all wrong by some…
